About the Author
Paddy Dillon is a prolific walker and guidebook writer, with over 70 books to his name and contributions to 30 other titles. He has walked all of Britain’s National Trails and several major European trails. He has also walked in Nepal, Tibet, Korea and the Rocky Mountains of Canada and the US. Paddy has walked extensively around all the Channel Islands, delighting in island-hopping. While exploring Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm he has walked around the coasts several times, enjoying urban promenades, sandy beach walks, cliff-top paths, rugged headlands and secluded coves. He has also penetrated far inland, along quiet traffic-calmed ruettes tranquilles and through intensively cultivated countryside.
