When you begin learning Italian, you start with a few stock phrases that will allow you to say please and thank you and to introduce yourself. However, you will not begin to really make yourself understood until you start working on your Italian vocabulary, that is, the Italian words that actually allow you to communicate. These words may be nouns, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions or questioning verbs, but in the end, they all allow you to more clearly communicate with others in Italian.
