About the Author
Three Sisters received its world premiere at Artists Repertory Theatre (Allen Nause, Artistic Director; Jill Baum, Managing Director) on May 8, 2009. The production was directed by Jon Kretzu. The set design was by Jeff Seats, the costume design was by Sarah Gahagan, the lighting design was by Jeff Forbes, and the composition and sound design were by Rodolfo Ortega; the production stage manager was Carol Ann Wohlmut. The cast was:

Shapiro. The set design was by Todd Rosenthal, the costume design was by Jess Goldstein, the lighting design was by Donald Holder, the sound design was by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen, and the original music was by David Singer; the dramaturg was Dassia N. Posner, the production stage manager was Laura D. Glenn. The cast was:
